Because there was no refrigeration or reliable way to store fresh foods including fruits and vegetables in Old World Europe, people began submerging produce in molten beeswax which extended the freshness for several months. Particularly helpful during the long harsh winters, to ward off scurvy, a life threatening disease caused by a lack of vitamin C in the diet. To this day in a world of fast food and instant meals our fine cheeses, wine bottles and fancy produce are still coated in beeswax a truly amazing natural preservative.

Perfect Petal Flower Preservation Kits
$49.95

Due to interest generated in the April 2005 issue of Better Homes and Gardens Magazine we have implemented a new do-it-yourself kit for the crafter, gardener or bride to be. Within minutes fresh blooms are immortalized in molten beeswax. We have provided the consumer with the finest ingredients and our specially formulated beeswax, which allows whites to stay bright. Natural beeswax is normally a golden color. Our beeswax is almost pure white allowing flowers to retain their natural brilliance. No other preservation process can keep white flowers white.

The kit contains:

  • 2 lbs of our specially blended cosmetic grade 100% pure beeswax
  • 1 oz concentrated scent designed for beeswax usage
  • 6 concentrated beeswax dye pellets to enhance or change the color of the flowers
  • 1 waxing thermometer to help gauge the exact temperature of the beeswax
  • 1 double boiler maker converts any two pans into an instant double boiler
  • 1 DVD instructional, educational and fun with project sections and lots of ideas
  • 1 Set full printed instructions with complete beginner and advanced flower lists. Details not found on the DVD, hints, tips and techniques.
  • 1 Sturdy reusable storage box to keep all contents for future waxing

The beeswax will never spoil and will last a thousand years. It can be reheated and reused repeatedly.

Real flowers are amazingly preserved using our special patented process. All natural beeswax acts as the preservative. Combined with the curing and sealing portions of the process the real bloom once preserved retains its size, shape, fullness, color and fragrance for decades to come. For the first time in history the user can preserve bulb flowers like paper whites, tulips, freesia, rannucula and other delicate blooms such as sweet pea, primrose, pansy and geranium. Once preserved the flower does not change over time. Our flowers do not require any special care or glass enclosures. The flowers are food safe and can be used to decorate cakes, tea trays or buffet tables. Individual flowers can be washed and dried hundreds of times without change. Unlike paraffin or other synthetic waxes which render only very short-term preservation. The beeswax combined with our process is the only long-term wax preservative in the world.

We invented this process a decade ago and were issued a US patent in 2001. Our client list is extensive. Oprah chose us in 1999 as one of her favorite things. We have created flower arrangements for Oprah, Martha Stewart, Nicole Kidman, Sandra Bullock, Drew Barrymore, Jane Seymour, Barbara Walters and Gabriel Byrne. Our arrangements grace the Smithsonian, Middleton Plantation, and Phoenix Art Museum. We have created bridal bouquets for thousands of brides over the years with one hundred percent complete customer satisfaction.
